AlQa'dah 17, 1433, Oct 3, 2012, SPA - Large explosions Wednesday hit the centre of Syria's commercial capital Aleppo, state television and opposition activists said, according to DPA. Television reports gave no details about the blasts, but the opposition Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said they were caused by car bombs and targeted an army officer's club and an hotel in the Square of Saad Allah al-Jabri in the heart of the northern city. Dozens were killed and injured in the bombings, added the London-based organization.
