AlQa'dah 12, 1433, September 28, 2012, SPA -- Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member States and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) held yesterday a session of talks at the headquarters of the United Nations here today. The GCC side was headed by Prince Dr. Turki bin Mohammed bin Saud, the Undersecretary of Foreign Ministry for Multilateral Relations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which chairs the GCC current presidency; and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Republic of Laos Alounk Kta?n whose country chairs Asean current presidency. During the talks session, they reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation between GCC and ASEAN in various fields, especially in economic and trade fields.
