AlQa'dah 10, 1433, Sep 26, 2012, SPA - Two fighter jets were scrambled over central New Jersey Tuesday after two aircraft violated airspace restrictions in place for the U.N. General Assembly meeting. North American Aerospace Defense Command spokesman John Cornelio said that F-22 jets intercepted the small planes during two separate incidents over central New Jersey early Tuesday. According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the pilots did not radio for permission to enter the airspace. It said it took one plane 20 minutes to exit and the other 14 minutes to exit. The FAA will decide whether to punish the pilots, following an investigation. The planes were forced to land at Central Jersey Regional Airport in Hillsborough, New Jersey.
