AlQa'dah 9, 1433, Sep 25, 2012, SPA -- The Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations, Ambassador Abdullah Al-Mouallimi and Executive Director of the World Food Program Ertharin Cousin will open on Thursday at the United Nations Headquarters in New York an exhibition of photographs highlighting the real partnership between Saudi Arabia and the World Food Program (WFP), which helps to alleviate hunger around the world. "The strong partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and WFP is one example of how we are working together to end global hunger," WFP spokeswoman Alanna Imbach said. She added, "This exhibition showcases the ways in which this partnership has made a difference in the lives of millions of people affected by hunger worldwide." Saudi Arabia is one of the leading donors to the WFP. "Solid sustainable partnerships with governments, non-governmental organizations, the private sector and civil society are essential for eradicating hunger," WFP spokeswoman Alanna Imbach said.
