AlQa'dah 6, 1433, Sep 22, 2012, SPA - The Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani has congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Vice Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and the Saudi people on the Kingdom's 82nd National Day, to be observed tomorrow. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency here today, Dr Al-Zayani wished the Kingdom continual progress and consolidated advancement. "It was a great historic opening and a new page in the history of Arabian peninsula with the unification and the establishment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the banner of monotheism (There is no God but Allah) and the launch of a comprehensive renaissance. Moreover, the comprehensive development flourished under the Kingdom's successive leaderships. "The march of the national action in the Kingdom embodied model cohesion between the leadership and people for the present and future of the country and its progress and development. It (the Kingdom) is thankfully a success story for proud Arabs and Muslims and the rest of the people world-wide," Dr. Al-Zayani said. "The outstanding achievements of Saudi Arabia in various fields and at all levels came thanks to the wisdom and statesmanship of Saudi leadership, and its keenness to achieve the aspirations of the Saudi people and provide them the right environment to develop and progress," he added. --MORE
