Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Governor of the Eastern Region, today welcomed the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Eastern Region, recalling that the monarch has depicted it as the "Region of Omen and Good". In a speech to mark the occasion, Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz said the visit comes within the great cohesion between the prudent leadership of the country and citizens of this area and other parts of the Kingdom. He said the visit is yet another evidence that the leader of renaissance is keen to be reassured of the progress of renaissance of this valuable part of the country and how projects under construction are going. The visit gives a guide to department leaders on how to upgrade social services for citizens and achieve more projects of prosperity and progress, he said, adding that the area enjoys continuous development, thanks to God Almighty and the prudence of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General; and Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior. For his part, Prince Juluwe bin Abdulaziz bin Musaed, Deputy Governor of the Eastern Region, said, in a similar speech on the occasion, that the people of this region were familiar to the get-reassured visit of their leader from time to time. He said the Eastern Region is witnessing continuous renaissance, thanks to Almighty Allah and the efforts of the monarch, his crown prince and their deputy premier and all senior officials of the country.
