AlQa'dah 6, 1433, Sep 22, 2012, SPA - Saudi Arabia is enjoying an era of prosperity under the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz (May Allah Protect Him), said Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Prof. Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu.
"Saudi Arabia is making its way on a steady track towards progress and glory, achieving comprehensive development, and blooming on all fronts," he said on the Kingdom's 82nd national day anniversary, to be celebrated tomorrow.
"As the Saudi people commemorate the 82nd anniversary of their national day, I would like to express, from my position as Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), my profound admiration and applaud for the all-encompassing development and prosperity witnessed by the Kingdom thanks to the wise leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, such as to have earned the Kingdom an outstanding position both regionally and internationally.
Extending support to Islamic action and striving to rally the ranks of Muslims has been a constant element in the policy pursued by all Saudi leaders for the past many years, a policy which has been further entrenched in the present auspicious era. The Islamic Ummah has had tangible proofs, through the multiple initiatives and efforts of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, of the Kingdom's enduring keenness to be at the forefront of the advocates of the just causes of the Islamic world and its firm and unbending stand side by side with its Muslim brothers, offering them support, energizing their advancement and progress and benefiting them of its generous assistance and continued solicitude.
