AlQa'dah 6, 1433, Sep 22, 2012, SPA - Saudi ambassadors and envoys today welcomed the 82nd anniversary of the national day of the Kingdom, complimented the Saudi people and all peoples of Arab and Islamic countries, noting the fraternal approach pursued by Saudi Arabia ever since the era of the late King Abdulaziz Al Saud until the prosperous era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (May Allah protect him), who is continuing its progressive march to defend rights of Arab and Islamic countries with honesty and sincerity. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency this morning in Beirut, Saudi ambassador to Lebanon Ali Awwad Asiri said this year's National Day marks the sensitive phase of political and security developments in the region, which makes it imperative for everyone to stop and think deeply about qualities of wisdom and guidance inherited by King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, who is leading the nation smartly and wisely. He highlighted the rare qualities enjoyed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in bringing about cohesion among the Saudi leadership and people. The ambassador singled out King Abdullah's globally appreciated invitation for dialogue among cultures and religions. Another glaring feature of his major initiatives is the recently held extraordinary Islamic solidarity summit in Makkah, which endorsed the establishment of a Center for dialogue between Islamic sects. --MORE
