Ahmad Al-Sabah congratulated Saudi Arabia, its leadership and people, on behalf of Kuwait's Emir, government and people on the occasion of the 82nd national day. He hailed the great contribution of the Kingdom's founder - the late King Abdulaziz bin Abdul-Rahman Al Saud, his historic unification efforts, consequently cementing the country with sound pillars of Islam and Sunnah, restoring its security and stability as well as ensuring fruitful achievements in political, economic, social and all other fields. Ever since its establishment, the ambassador said the Kingdom has registered big gains on the road to progress, security, stability and economic development as well as kept pace with the latest developments around the world. He explained that the most important thing that reinforced pillars of this state (Saudi Arabia) is the concrete cohesion between the leadership and its people, and the principle of communication emanating from the open-door policy pursued by the Saudi leadership. The ambassador singled out the leadership and directives of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz as regards reforms in various domains and the Kingdom's promising achievements under the King's present era with rapid strides and solid pace, which has won appreciation and admiration of all nations of the world. --More
