AlQa'dah 2, 1433, Sep 18, 2012, SPA -- A German hiker who plunged 115 metres down an Austrian mountain slope was rescued alive this week, police said Tuesday. The 55-year-old was walking downhill near the Tyrolean town of Eben on Monday when he lost his balance. He dropped 80 metres down the steep forest slope, plunged another 35 metres in free fall and landed on rocks. His wife alerted rescuers, who flew the seriously injured man to a hospital in nearby Innsbruck.
