AlQa'dah 2, 1433, Sep 18, 2012, SPA - The Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul-Mohsen Al-Turki received today Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Khairat Lama Sharif. During the meeting, they reviewed the joint cooperation between the Muslim World League and Religious Affairs Ministry of the Republic of Kazakhstan led by prospective cooperation in the areas of dialogue among civilizations and world cultures. For his part, Khairat highlighted the role of Saudi Arabia in intensively activating the dialogue (process) and its applications, noting the importance of communication with Islamic Eastern cultures, which has been pursued by the Kingdom (of Saudi Arabia) at the World Conference on Dialogue among followers of religions in Madrid. He praised the invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (May Allah protect him) - to establish a center for dialogue between Islamic sects in Riyadh to achieve understanding and co-existence between the Islamic nation. It is noteworthy that Dr. Al-Turki is attending in Bangkok the International Symposium on Religion and Peace Achievement in ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian Nations) being held in cooperation between Muslim World League and the Council of Interfaith Cooperation for Peace in Thailand.
