AlQa'dah 1, 1433, Sep 17, 2012, SPA -- In the presence of Chief of the General Staff, Lt. General Hussein ibn Abdullah al-Gubayel and Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces General Sidqi Subhi, the joint Saudi-Egyptian naval forces exercises comprising Royal Saudi Naval Forces and Egyptian Naval Forces have been concluded today. The Saudi-Egyptian naval exercise "Morjan 13" was conducted with the participation of a number of Royal Saudi Air force aircrafts. On the occasion, Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces Lt. Gen. Dakhil-Ullah Al-Waqdani said that the exercise Morjan 13 between the Royal Saudi Naval Forces and the Egyptian Naval Forces comes within a series of joint exercises conducted by Saudi Royal Navy with navies of sisterly and friendly countries. He explained, in a statement, that it also aims to raise combat readiness, exchange experiences and gain combat skills through precision in planning and professionalism in the implementation and the ability to exercise procedures of command and control of different units in theater of operations. Then, the Chief of the General Staff, Lt. General Hussein al-Gubayel held a luncheon in honor of the Chief of Staff of the Egyptian Armed Forces General Sidqi Subhi and the accompanying delegation in the presence of senior commanders from both sides. -- SPA
