Saudi-U.S. Naval Union Exercise-12 Concludes

On behalf of Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense, the Commander of Royal Saudi Naval Forces Admiral Dakhullah bin Ahmad Al-Waqdani attended the closing activities of Naval Union Exercise-12 between Royal Saudi Naval Forces and U.S. Fifth Fleet at the eastern fleet yesterday.
A number of ships of His Majesty, The King, and aircraft from Saudi Naval and Air Forces took part in the eight-day exercise.
During the closing ceremony, units participating in the exercise carried out shooting with live ammunition and training on marine landing operations.
Admiral Al-Waqdani pointed out that this exercise is part of a series of exercises carried out by Royal Saudi Naval Forces with the navies of brotherly and friendly countries to increase their operational readiness, exchange experiences and gain combating skills.
