AlQa'dah 01, 1433, September 17, 2012, SPA -- The Executive Council of Muslim in Belgium strongly condemned a movie insulting Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) that triggered anger and condemnation across the Islamic world. In a statement, the Executive Council, which is the official body recognized in the country to represent Muslims, expressed its deep regret, anger and strong condemnation of the film and said that the freedom of expression is a fundamental democratic right which should be practiced with taking care to avoid provocation and incitement to hatred of others, calling on Muslims in Belgium to restraint and avoid any acts of violence. -- SPA
