The Jordanian Lower House of Parliament on Thursday strongly condemned a movie insulting Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) that triggered anger and condemnation across the Islamic world. In a statement on Thursday, the Lower House voiced its deep regret, anger and strong condemnation of the film and said it strongly rejects any insult against Islamic belief and religious symbols. The Lower House called on official and popular international entities to intervene to prevent the display of the movie and to hold those accountable in charge as they provoked the feelings of more than 1.5 billion Muslims.
