Faisal, gave away the Okaz Souq poet prize worth SR300,000 to Rawda Al-Haj Mohammed Othman from Sudan, Okaz youth poet prize worth SR100,000 to Eyad Abu-Shamlah Hakami from Saudi Arabia and Scientific Innovation and Excellency prize worth Sr100,000 to Dr. Ahmed Ahmed bin Zafer Al-Garni, from Saudi Arabia. Other gifts for photography, a paint and a poem, and Arabic calligraphy were also distributed over winners from Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. The event was attended by a number of princes, ministers, literates, intellectuals and guests from inside and outside the Kingdom.
