A suicide bomber in northern Afghanistan blew himself up on Monday among a group of police officers, killing 11 and injuring 15 civilians, a senior police official said. The lone bomber walked through a group of anti-riot police officers in Kunduz city's main square and detonated his explosives, Ghulam Mohammad Farhad, the deputy police chief of Kunduz province, told dpa. He said that 15 civilians were wounded. "We are gathering information. Casualties may rise," Farhad said.
