Syrian Activists Monday accused government forces of committing a new massacre, with pictures posted online showing dozens of piled bodies covered in blood in the outskirts of Damascus, according to a report of dpa. They said some people had been killed by troops in the suburb of Hazza. The report comes after the Local Coordination Committees, a group of activists documenting violence in Syria, said that the death toll in August had reached 5,000 - the bloodiest month since the uprising against President Bashar al-Assad began in 2011.
