Saad Al-Hariri, former Prime Minister of Lebanon today lauded the outcome of the recently-concluded extraordinary Islamic solidarity summit which was held in Makkah on 26-27 Ramadan at an invitation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. In a statement, Al-Hariri lauded the initiative of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to invite all Muslim leaders during the holy month of Ramadan in the world's holiest place to study the situations of the Muslim nation. He said the conference's great attention paid to the situation in Syria and Palestine is yet another evidence that the Islamic countries, led by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, are keen to provide all kinds of support for the Muslim people who suffer oppression and bloodshed everywhere. He expressed hope that Lebanon would overcome the current critical circumstances to a better political and security situation.
