A number of media representatives, visitors and Umrah performers lauded the contents of the speech of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the summit, particularly his proposal to establish a center for dialogue among Muslim sects and the call for Islamic unity and rejection of sedition, difference and violence. In statements to Saudi Press Agency reporters, a number of visitors and Umrah performers around the holy Haram said the Islamic world does need such a call to unite ranks of Muslim people regardless of their different religious philosophies which they describe as minor differences and trifle matters. They said that the initiative of the monarch to establish the center will bring about different viewpoints under one roof to discover that there are no key rifts among each other. They cautioned that only enemies of Islam will benefit from such situation in which Muslims remain at odds. Also interviewed by SPA, media representatives who came to cover the extraordinary Islamic Solidarity Summit in Makkah lauded the great significance of the speech in terms of enhancing the joint Islamic march. They expressed support for the idea of establishing the center for Islamic sects dialogue with its headquarters to be hosted by the Saudi capital of Riyadh. They said the call came at a time Muslim world is suffering from wide rifts and weakness that is exploited by its enemies. They said the proposal of establishing the center would uproot sedition among Muslim sects, describing it as a good omen for all Muslims all over the world. To this extent, they described the monarch as the most prudent leader and troubleshooter of today.
