More Presidents, heads of State and governments of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States arrived in Jeddah this evening to participate in the extraordinary Islamic Solidarity summit called to by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and is due to be held in Makkah tomorrow (Tuesday). They were President Asif Ali Zardari of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan; President Mahamadou Issoufou of the Republic of Niger; President Idriss Deby of the Republic of Chad; President Abdullah Gul of the Republic of Turkey; Prince Rashid, brother of King Mohammed VI of Morocco; State Minister and Presidential Envoy George Hallaq of the Republic of Guyana; Indonesian Foreign Minister Dr. Marty Natalegawa; Gambia's Minister of Presidential Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, Dr. Anjugu Bah; President Dr. Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of the State of Kuwait; Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al-Sharqi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Fujairah of the United Arab Emirates; President Hamid Karzai of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan; President Alpha Conde of the Republic of Guinea, and President Manuel Serifo Nhamadjo of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
