The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud honored the Saudi equestrian team, who were just back from London Olympiad for their splendid performance at the renowned sports event. At his palace in Jeddah this evening, the monarch received Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Mohammed, Minister of Education, who is also Chairman of the Council of Trustees of the Equestrian Fund; Prince Colonel Turki bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Equestrian Fund; and members of the Saudi equestrian team who participated in the Olympic Games and scored the Bronze of barriers team jump. They are Prince Abdullah bin Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Ramzi bin Hamad Al-Dihami; Kamal bin Abdullah Bahamdan; Abdullah bin Waleed Sharbatli; and Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Eid. For his part, the King congratulated the Saudi knights on this occasion, wishing all Saudi athletes every success. Then, he decorated Prince Abdullah bin Miteb bin Abdulaziz, Al-Dihami, Bahamdan and A-Sharbatli with King Abdulaziz medal class I. The monarch also presented a gift to Al-Eid and Faisal bin Saud Al-Shaalan. The knights expressed thanks to the King, lauding his care for sports in general and equestrian in particular.
