A dust storm and monsoon moved through the Phoenix area in Arizona late Tuesday, forcing the rescue of at least nine people from flooded roads and the closure of a busy highway.
The storm flooded some streets in Anthem, Arizona and along Interstate 17. The Arizona Republic reported Wednesday that firefighters rescued several people trapped in their vehicles late Tuesday on a highway west of Interstate 17, but no injuries were reported, according to AP.
