Mudslide At Western China Mine Kills At Least 18

A mudslide has buried 28 workers in an iron ore mine in China's far western region of Xinjiang and 18 are confirmed dead.
The official Xinhua News Agency said Wednesday that rescue efforts were continuing but the survival chances for the others were slim.
The mudslide happened Tuesday after rainstorms hit Xinyuan county. The miners lived in a work shed at the mine.
