Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the Saudi Commission for Tourism and Antiquities (SCTA), thanked the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense for their support for national tourism. Prince Sultan bin Salman made the remarks in a press statement on the occasion of the decision of the Council of Ministers in its meeting yesterday on allocation of financial support for Al-Aqeer project site in the eastern region. The Cabinet approved, in principle, to allocate financial support for the implementation of the basic requirements at the circumference of Al-Aqeer Project Site. The financial support amounts to SR 1.4 billion; of which SR One billion will be appropriated for the delivery of the required power in accordance with the preliminary studies and SR 400 million for the provision of water and sanitation.
