The Cabinet noted Israel's orchestrated practices aiming to change the geographic and population realities of Al-Qudus (Jerusalem), its ongoing violations of international law, non-abiding by its pledges to stop settlements and blockade imposed on Palestinian people throughout occupied territories, its manifest of insistence, recalcitrance, and rejection to abide by the international community's will and circumvent international legitimacy resolutions, stressing the importance of uniting international efforts to provide the Palestinian people with protection and to end all Israeli practices against them, the Minister said. The Cabinet also warned against deteriorating humane situation in Syria on the backdrop of carnage, killings, violence and increasing number of the displaced, demanding the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to put an end to the ongoing savage committed by the regime against Syrian people, he said, adding that the Cabinet commended, in this respect, the great response by Saudi citizens and expatriates to the National Campaign to raise funds to support Syrian brethren, as directed by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and expressed hope that such a campaign would give a hand to meet the basic needs of the Syrian people and mitigate their sufferings due to their tragic situation who are in a dire need to food, medicine, clothes and shelter. -- More
