As much as SR249 million has voluntarily been garnered by Saudi citizens and expatriates in Saudi Arabia for Syrian brothers as part of the Saudi National Campaign to Support the Brothers in Syria upon instructions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, it was reported here today. In a press release, organizers said this is in addition to in-king donations which include foodstuffs, medical appliances, medications, clothes, tents, blankets, mattresses and jewelries in the fifth and last day of the public campaign. However, the campaign would continue on bank-benches as previously announced, organizers added.
