Awwal 18, 1432 H / April 22, 2011, SPA -- King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain received at Al-Rowdha palace in Manama today Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of the Eastern Region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. At the outset of the audience, Prince Mohammed bin Fahd conveyed to the monarch of Bahrain the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, wishing him continuous health and happiness and the Kingdom of Bahrain steady progress and prosperity. For his part, the monarch sent his greetings to the leadership of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing its people steady progress and prosperity. King Hamad Al Khalifa expressed pride on the nature of ties binding the two kingdoms and peoples, lauding the noble stances of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, in support of Bahrain against any foreign interference and for the guarantee of its security and stability. Then, King Hamad Al Khalifa decorated Prince Mohammed bin Fahd with Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa medal in recognition of the efforts he was exerting in the field of enhancing relations between the two countries. The audience was attended by Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Heir Apparent and Deputy Commander-in-chief of Bahrain's Defense Force, princes and officials of Bahrain. Then King Hamad Al Khalifa gave a luncheon in honor of Prince Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz and the accompanying delegation.
