The U.N. mission in Iraq on Monday strongly condemned the wave of attacks that began Sunday across the country, killing nearly 100 people and injuring many more. “I strongly condemn the heinous attacks and the senseless violence and bloodshed across the country," the U.N. secretary-general's deputy special representative, Gyorgy Busztin, said in a statement from the U.N. Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI).
