The Saudi Embassy in the United Kingdom has expressed its pleasure over raising the flag of Saudi Arabia in the Olympic Village in London today, stressing the harnessing of its human and material potentials to ensure the success of Saudi Arabia's participation in the Olympic Games. A press statement issued by the embassy today said that Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom has earlier issued his directives for harnessing the embassy's potentials for administrative and sports bodies of Saudi teams participating in the Olympics. It noted that the ambassador has appointed an Olympic attaché from the embassy's officials, who will be responsible for the file of Saudi participation in the Olympics in addition to the establishment of an information center in the embassy to help Saudi media delegation accompanying the sport mission. The statement said that Ambassador Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz and Prince Nawaf bin Faisal bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, General President of Youth Welfare and Chairman of Saudi Arabian Olympic Committee, will patronize an Iftar ( breaking-fast) party at the British Museum in early August in honor of heads of delegations of Islamic countries participating in the Olympics, indicating that the party will be preceded by delegations' tour of Arabian thoroughbred exhibition currently being held at the Museum.
