Arish, Ramadan 3, 1433, Jul 22, 2012, SPA - Egyptian firefighters Sunday extinguished a blaze at a regional gas pipeline in the Sinai Peninsula, said security officials. The pipeline transports gas to Israel and Jordan. Gunmen planted explosives under part of the pipeline in a desert area east of Al-Arish city around 30 kilometres from Egypt's border with Israel, the officials were quoted as saying by DPA. No casualties were reported.
