An unpiloted Japanese cargo vehicle lifted off Saturday for the International Space Station (ISS), according to dpa. The cargo transporter Kounotori 3 was aboard an H-2B rocket launched at 11:06 am (0206 GMT) from the Tanegashima Space Centre in southern Japan. The vehicle was carrying 4.6 tons of supplies and experimental hardware, is expected to approach the ISS on Friday, when it will be captured and docked to the station. A Russian Soyuz spacecraft carrying three new crew members docked with the ISS on Tuesday. dpa
