21 dead in bus accident in western Mexico

At least 21 people died when a bus drove off highway and down an embankment early Friday in Nayarit state near Mexico's Pacific Coast, authorities said according to dpa.
The accident, which took place about 700 kilometres northwest of Mexico City, left 29 people injured, some seriously.
The bus was reportedly near the town of Santa Maria del Oro on straight stretch of road when it careened off the highway.
