Heavy rains caused mud flows and rockslides in Dagestan's Ahtyn district. The disaster cut off five villages, Itar-Tass reported. Dagestan's branch of EMERCOM reported on Sunday that "the rockslide blocked the road in the villages Smugul, Hnov, Fiy, and Hryug." According to the authority, there are no bypass near those villages. The named villages include 1,480 households and over 7,000 residents, including 1,959 children. No victims or injured are reported. Currently, work is underway to clear roads.
