Minister of Culture and Information and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Gulf Radio and TV Corporation, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja signed today a contract with a national company for the construction of the permanent headquarters of the Gulf Radio and Television Corporation, which is to be completed in two years at an estimated cost of more than SR 15 Million. On the occasion, the Minister of Culture and Information expressed thanks and appreciation to the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for its support for the Corporation. The government allocated a land in the Diplomatic Enclave in Riyadh, which is spread over an area of 4,000 square meters. It will have a built up area of 2,823 square meters. The project of the building will be part of the budget of the Ministry of Culture and Information. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency, Dr Khoja thanked Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, and President of Higher Commission For Riyadh Development and other officials of the Commission for their support for the implementation of various phases of the project.
