Kingdom gives USD20 million support for UNESCO and its programs

Saudi Permanent Representative to the UNESCO Dr. Ziayd Aldrees said that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will provide USD20 million to support the Emergency Fund of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization "UNESCO".
During a meeting with the director-general of UNESCO Irina Bokova in the presence of executive directors of the Organization, the Saudi official said the support is not the first and will not be the last by the kingdom adding that it will be to support the organization and its programs.
