Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, received here today, Director of U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), David H. Petraeus and his accompanying delegation. During the audience, Petraeus conveyed to the Crown Prince the greetings of President Barack Obama of the United States of America. For his part, the Crown Prince sent his greetings to the U.S. President. The CIA Director congratulated Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for his selection as the Crown Prince. He also offered his condolences on the demise of the late Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, (May Allah bestow mercy on his soul). During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States, as well as other matters of common concern. The audience was attended by Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense; Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Chief of the Court of the Crown Prince and his Special Adviser; Director General of the Office of the Crown Prince, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Saleh Al-Bunyan; and Charge D'affaires of the U.S. Embassy to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Thomas Williams.
