The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the cabinet session held at Al-Salam Palace here today. At the outset of the session, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the ministers prayed to Allah Almighty to bestow his mercy upon the soul of late Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Kings, leaders, envoys of friendly countries and other international organizations as well as the Saudi people for the noble feelings they have demonstrated on the sad demise of late Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques welcomed Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense, and Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, wishing both all success. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohieddin Khoja said the Cabinet offered condolences to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the royal family, sons and daughters of late Prince Naif and the Saudi people on the death of late Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, praying to Allah Almighty to bless his soul. The Cabinet also congratulated Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz on the royal trust for having been chosen Crown Prince and appointed Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense. The Cabinet also congratulated Prince Ahmad bin Abdulaziz on his appointment as Minister of Interior, wishing their Royal Highnesses all success. --More
