The Secretary General of the Riyadh-based Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashed Al-Zayani met in Paris with U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for Middle East Affairs Elizabeth Johns on the fringes of the 3rd Syria Friends Conference, which concluded in Paris today. During the meeting, in which 107 countries and non-governmental organizations took part, they discussed bilateral relations between the GCC and the U.S. and ways of enhancing them within the GCC-U.S. Strategic Cooperation Dialogue. Also discussed in the meeting, were the regional and international issues of mutual concern.
