At least eight people were killed Wednesday in three separate explosions in Iraq, security officials said, a day after attacks left more than 30 dead. Three military soldiers were killed when an explosive hit their patrol in Tal Afar, near the city of Mosul, 400 kilometres north of the capital Baghdad, security officials told dpa. A policeman and two civilians were killed in an explosion targeting a police patrol in the nearby village of Sahaji, added the officials. The third attack occurred when a car bomb was detonated in a market near the eastern Iraqi city of Kut, killing two people and injuring five, they said.
