Faisal said, "The issue of the Syrian crisis topped our deliberations as a result of continuing humanitarian heinous crimes and destructive murderous machine used by the Syrian regime against its people in a fierce war that exceeded all ethical and humanitarian standards and international laws, and which necessitates that we exert greater efforts in dealing with it in a way that obliges the Syrian regime to immediate cease fire and opt for full implementation of the plan of Joint Envoy of the United Nations and the Arab League that aims to achieve a political solution to the crisis that could meet the aspirations of the Syrian people. If the Syrian regime continues in its excessive use of the policy of violence and abuses, then, it is inevitable to resort to Chapter VII of the UN Charter in collective international efforts. " "The other topic on the Syrian crisis is continuing flow of arms to the Syrian regime, which gives it an implicit license to persist in its brutality without any effective international deterrence, which also necessitates morally that we do not stand by idly in front of the victims of unarmed Syrian people, and we work to exert all possible efforts to provide them with everything that they can defend themselves and protect their children and their families in front of the blind and the excessive use of force, " Prince Saud Al-Faisal noted.
