At least Six soldiers and 11 rebels were killed in a clash in Pakistan's north-western tribal region, a military official said on Monday. Dozens of militants entered the region from outside (the country) and ambushed an army patrol in Dir, a remote district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province, a military spokesman said on condition of anonymity. "Six of our soldiers were killed and a few went missing while 11 militants were killed by our troops which forced the militants to flee," he was quoting as saying by DPA.
