Turkey is waiting for Syria to provide an explanation as to why it shot down a Turkish F4 fighter plane in the eastern Mediterranean, Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said Saturday, according to the Anatolian state news agency. "When we receive an explanation as to why a non-combat, training plane carrying out routine reconnaissance activities was shot down, we will share it with the general public," he said.
