In 1395AH, a royal order was issued appointing Prince Ahmad as Deputy Minister of Interior and he has contributed, under the supervision of the late Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz, to the organization of the Ministry and development of the security forces.
He has assumed the following posts:
-Vice President of the Supreme Commission for Industrial Security.
-Chairman of Preparatory Committee for National Security (formerly).
-Member of other ministerial committees.
