German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle met here today with Sudanese Foreign Minister Ali Karti. During the meeting, they discussed the security developments on the border between North and South Sudan in addition to the efforts made ??by the United Nations to resolve the crisis in the border areas. They also addressed Germany's support for peace talks between Khartoum and Juba.
