Presided over by its Vice Speaker Dr. Mohammed bin Ameen Al-Jefri, Majlis AL-Shura held here today its 44th ordinary session. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Dr. Fahad bin Metad Al-Hamad, Assistant Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, said that the council discussed a number of issues on its agenda. The council approved that Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) is to put conditions for Sauduzation of technical and administrative jobs to be %50 for the institutions and factories funded by SIDF. Majlis Al-Shura approved the necessity of Ministry of Economy and Planning and Ministry of Finance to estimate public capital spending and to determine priorities for five years as reference for the general budget of the State. Al-Shura council approved that the Control and Investigation Bureau is to develop control programs and mechanisms. The council approved that the Ministry of Economy and Planning is to prepare framework for action of the economic and technical cooperation committees with the other countries to develop relations of exchange and investment with those countries. Majlis Al-Shura approved a draft memorandum of understanding between King Abdulaziz Public Library and Beijing-based University of Chain regarding establishing the library's branch in Beijing University.
