Petrokemya, A Spanish Company Sign $ 561 Million Contract To Establish ABS Factory In Jubail

Arabian Petrochemical Company "Petrokemya", a subsidiary of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation "SABIC", has signed a letter of intent with a Spanish company to design, supply and construct Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene (ABS) Factory in the company's complex in Jubail Industrial City.
SABIC said in a press release today that the project will be financed from its resources with a total value of $ 561 million, noting that the factory will enter the stage of initial operation during the last quarter of 2014 with a capacity of up to 140,000 tons per year for ingredients used in automotive industry, electrical appliances and other products.
