Jordanian Prime Minister Meets with UN-Arab League Envoy

Jordanian Prime Minister Fayez Al-Tarawneh met here today with Kofi Annan, UN-Arab League Envoy for Syria.
During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments in Syria as well as efforts to solve the crisis and end the suffering of the Syrian people. They also discussed the outcome of Annan's visit to Damascus yesterday and his meeting with Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad.
Both sides called for an immediate end to bloodshed and violence in Syrian as well as for the need to continue coordination and consultations to ensure the success of Annan's mission.
