Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani, Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General, said that there are positive indications regarding the proposal of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to transfer from the Gulf cooperation stage to Gulf union. In a statement to Bahrain News Agency (BNA) on the sideline of the GCC Future Entrepreneurs' Forum being held in Manama, stressed that the GCC Foreign Minister are interested in the proposal, pointing out that every decision will be taken in this regard would be for the interest of GCC peoples. Dr. Al-Zayani explained that the Gulf Union body, which consists of 18 members represent the six Gulf States, have reached the stage of finalizing the final report that will be discussed during an exceptional Summit meeting to be held in Riyadh.
