Presided over by its Speaker Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Majlis Al-Shura held here today its 39th ordinary session. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA) following the session, Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Amro, Secretary General of Majlis Al-Shura, said that Majlis Al-Shura discussed a number of issues on its agenda. Al-Shura approved a draft cooperation agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of Malta in the field of combating terrorism, organized crime and illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Majlis Al-Shura also approved a draft cooperation agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Government of Mauritania in the field of combating crime. The Council approved amendments of a number of articles in the communication system. Al-Shura Council discussed a draft system of practicing engineering professions. Majlis Al-Shura discussed the annual report of Saudi Agricultural Development Fund for the fiscal year 1431/1432H.
